Integration: Airtable

Sync Your CRM With Airtable, Both Directions

Juicy Goosey integrates with Airtable via API and webhooks. Pick which Airtable base maps to which CRM object. Contacts, deals, tasks and notes flow both ways. Edits in Airtable propagate to the CRM, and vice versa. Automations on either side fire as expected.

How The Airtable Integration Works

Five steps. About three minutes from connect to first sync.

StepWhat Happens
1. ConnectAirtable personal access token or OAuth (Pro/Enterprise).
2. Pick basesEach base maps to a CRM object (contact, deal, task, note).
3. Map fieldsPer-field mapping including formulas and lookups (read-only).
4. Pick directionOne-way or two-way per base.
5. DoneEdits propagate within seconds (webhook + polling combo).

What You Get

Six capabilities for ops teams that want to keep Airtable and add a real CRM.

Migrate Your "Airtable CRM" In One Sync

Existing contact and deal bases imported, deduped against the CRM. No rebuild.

Two-Way Contact Sync

Edit on either side, both stay in sync.

Deal Mirror In Airtable

Ops dashboards in Airtable still work, fed by CRM data.

Note And Task Sync

Field-level mapping for notes and tasks. Owner, due date, status all flow.

Linked Records

Airtable's relation model maps to CRM's contact-on-deal pattern.

Conflict Resolution

CRM wins, Airtable wins, latest write wins, or pause and notify. You pick.

Common Patterns

Four setups our Airtable-heavy customers run.

Sales In CRM, Partner Database In Airtable

Read partners from Airtable into CRM contacts, write back interaction events.

Ops Tracker In Airtable, Deal Status In CRM

Operations team keeps Airtable for rollups, deal status flows from CRM.

Inventory / Project / Asset Database In Airtable

Link CRM deals to Airtable inventory records via shared field. Sales sees stock without leaving the CRM.

Marketing Lead List In Airtable

New lead in Airtable → CRM contact + sequence. Marketing keeps the intake form, CRM does the follow-up.

For Teams Migrating From "Airtable As CRM"

If you have built a homemade CRM in Airtable, this is the polite migration path:

  1. Connect Airtable
  2. Map your contact and deal bases on first sync
  3. Keep Airtable for everything that is NOT sales workflow
  4. Move pipeline, automation and reporting into Juicy Goosey

Versus Doing It Through Zapier or Make

ApproachField Map GranularityTwo-WayConflict HandlingCost
Juicy Goosey nativePer-field, per-baseYesBuilt inIncluded
ZapierLimited per recordHard to configureManualPer task
Make.comBetter, manual setupYes (manual)ManualPer operation
Airtable AutomationsAirtable side onlyOutbound onlyManualIncluded

If your workflow is genuinely simple ("new Airtable record → new CRM contact"), Zapier or Airtable Automations may be enough. Anything more complex is where our native sync earns its keep.

Limits (Honest)

Airtable Rate Limits

5 requests/sec per base on Pro. We batch and queue. Very large bases sync in waves.

Formula and Lookup Fields Are Read-Only

We sync the value in. We do not write back. Writing back would corrupt the formula.

Attachments Are URL Links

Synced as a link to the Airtable-hosted file, not a binary copy. Keeps storage clean.

Interfaces Are Presentation Only

Airtable Interfaces are a view layer. We sync the underlying tables, not the Interface views.

Automation Scripting Blocks Stay In Airtable

We do not yet execute Airtable's Scripting blocks from our side. They run on the Airtable side as designed.
